We are able to provide you with a friendly and pleasant environment whilst you learn to dance and always try our upmost to offer different ways of teaching and techniques in all of our classes and lessons, so we hope you should always feel that your lesson is interesting and that you that you can learn at a pace which is best suited for you.
We plan our teaching methods around the ISTD syllabus and will teach you the steps and correct technique which you will need to dance correctly. We will always encourage our students to progress and we will do this in the best way we can.
Tim Barraclough A.I.S.T.D, is the principle of the dance school. Tim is a full time dance teacher with over 10 years dance teaching experience. Tim started dancing at the age of 9 and has been passionate about it ever since. Tim opened his first dance school in the year of 2013. Charlene Barraclough, is the managing director and joint owner of Believe Ballroom along with her husband Tim Barraclough. You may not see her very much but she is responsible for everything that goes on behind the scenes, advertising, design, recruiting, events, management and administration.
Susan O' Neil is an associate with the I.S.T.D. and specialises in Latin American. She is assisted by her husband Ian. Susan has over 17 years teaching experience and they both have national and international competitive experience. Please enquire further for private tuition.
Ian is also our handyman at the Ballroom and a great one at that too!
Rob and Abigail are brother and sister and have been dancing for over 10 years. They are multi talented and competent in ballroom, latin, sequence, freestyle and rock ’n’ roll. You will see them about a lot whilst having lessons or coaching their classes!
